Introduction

In 1985, a group of friends of a photographic association put itself in contact with different groupings from the province of Girona to organize an aid, who achieved a remarkable success of participation on the subject of the great Nevada of that year. In a later meeting in a pharmacy of Cassà of the Forest, some problems of different groupings were shown (economic, social, etc.) i reached the conclusion to organize an aid of photography with monthly presentations of free agenda that named FOTOLLIGA. The participant groupings were of the following populations: Arbúcies, Cassà of the Forest, the Bisbal, Palamós, Salt, Sant Feliu de Guíxols and Tossa of Sea. In year 1997 the Association Gironina de Entidades Fotogra'ficas was constituted officially (AGEF).

At the moment it is formed by 12 groupings, which are:

• Contrallum dela Bisbal

• Agrupació Fotogràfica i Cinematogràfica de Blanes

• Cine Club Bahía de Palamós

• Photo Perpignan

• Agrupació Fotogràfica de Salt

• Agrupació Fotogràfica i Cinematogràfica de Sant Feliu de Guíxols

• Amics de la Fotografía de Torroella de Montgrí

• Caf Vall-D'aro

In the present time joint activities with the groupings are made associated, like the FOTOLLIGA that makes once every month.

Aids like the one of the "Exposició de Flors, Patis i Jardins" of l'Ajuntament of Girona. Also Photographic GIMCAMAS i are organized other encounter.
